2 color printing
Cura
- post processing scripts –> pause at height
- Pause at the layer before where you want to color to change i.e. the last layer before you want to switch filaments
- it should be worded as pause *after* layer
- example: if new color starts at layer 6 pause at layer 5
- park print head X and Y both to 0
- set retraction to 0
- set standby temp to printing temp
- method: Marlin (M0)
- when the printer pauses
- remove old color and set new color in
- manually push the filament through the nozzle until the new color shows up
- ever so slightly pull back the filament (manual retract) so the new color doesn't splodge onto the print
- clean the nozzle
- click the knob on the printer to resume the print
