• find 'em on Google 64 bit Windows 10
  • They are unsigned so in settings –> recovery choose advanced startup
  • In the advanced startup menu choose option 7 to allow installation of unsigned drivers
  • Install by choosing add legacy hardware in device manager
  • Get and save scatter file with Mtk_Droid_Tool (v2.5.3B used)
  • Use scatter file to calculate size of readback for SP_Flash_Tool and choose Readback
    • choose for the size to include through the USRDATA to be safe although you can do less
    • make sure the file starts with the filename ROM_ so Mtk_Droid_Tool will read it
  • Go back to Mtk_Droid_Tool
    • make sure the device you are copying from is booted and can be read by the Droid Tool so the scatter file parsing is correct
    • parse the ROM
    • return to SP_Flash_Tool and load the scatter file that Mtk_Droid_Tool prepared in its backups directory
    • choose Download
